SMMC and Goodall Hospital are joining forces.  For more than a century SMMC and Goodall Hospital have served our communities with compassion, dignity, trust, and shared traditions of excellence. Now we’ve begun the process of integrating our services to serve you better. 

We will be working closely together as partners in Southern Maine Health Care, the York County member of MaineHealth, one of the nation’s top 100 healthcare systems.  We’re coming together to:

• Ensure high quality care and excellent patient experiences every time
• Increase efficiencies that will help control the rising cost of health care
• Improve the health status of people within the communities we serve

While our names remain the same for now, our intent is to merge within a year. Meanwhile, you can still count on our same outstanding doctors, nurses, staff and trusted services. We’ll be working together to continue to bring exceptional talent, technology and services to our communities in the years ahead.
